Every writer is different. So you could have less drafts than I, or more. It’s your writing process so don’t worry about the editing process too much.
Put words on the page, then edit them out later
O_O I guess they were right when they say you do more than one draft for a novel….., I best be getting back to the outline of my behemoth idea…it calls for me.
You’ll get there. This will be draft 4 after edits are all typed up and printed.

Oh man, I hope that I’ll keep all the good parts in for my novel, hehe. Unfortunately, I’m only beginning the outline of this behemoth of an idea. X_X
It’s fun and heartbreaking. Cutting out a lot of some of the characters’ snark is a bit difficult at times.
Oh, the editing must be the fun part of writing a novel after you’ve written your first draft, haha,
